Recently I became a bit more interested in the field of art for several reasons. As a matter of fact there is, however still a lot to see and learn for me. So during my search for inspiration, I stumbled upon an artist which I want to introduce to you. He is not only a full-time professional artist, he also holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. It goes without saying, science and neuroscience in particular are a strong recurring theme in his paintings. On his website he eloquently explains his love and admiration for Asian simplicity like old Edo period scroll paintings which he incorporates into his own creations... so instead of showing you some examples of his paintings on my site, I immediately redirect you to some of his pieces.
