Dance your PhD 2012

Many scientists and PhD students alike, face the difficulty to explain what they are doing to friends, family and the general public. One opportunity to express your research is the contest "Dance Your PhD" - it is what it sounds like. The rules are simple: present your PhD-/research as a dance. 

The registration for 2012 has opened and the deadline will be the 1st of October 2012. This year you can compete in four science categories and the winner of each gets 500$ plus a trip to the TEDxBrussels talks. Here is the link if you feel like dancing!

Last year in 2011 - 55 dances competed against each other in only one category and here is the winning video of 2011:
